Happy Thanksgiving

Last night we had the opportunity to go up to my brothers and have dinner. On the drive around Bothwell looking for birds my husband could hunt, I took to remembering those family members that are not around to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. From Grandma and Grandpa Cornwall, to Uncle Brian, to Emma. I am glad that as foggy as my memory is these days that I still can remember each of them at this time of year.
Later at Eric's house, I had the chance to read to my neice Savannah. Oh to have little kids around, I forget how much fun that can be. After dinner, it was fun to watch Braxton playing around with all the little girls, 5 all under the age of 6. It was also nice the see the different family members there interacting about this and that.
Since it is Thanksgiving, I would like to say that I am thankful for my family and friends. I am thankful for my wonderful husband that I know puts up with a lot with me. I am thankful to an old boss who without which I am sure I would not still have the job I have today. I am thankful for the opportunity for change in our lives. Without change, I would not have been able to travel the places I have been, meet some of my friends, live the life I live. I live a very priviledged life and am thankful to the Lord for it all.

Happy Thanksgiving. Love Daphne

Trans Siberian Orchestra

All I can say is WOW! Last night we went to dinner with our friends Brad and Annie and then we went to the Trans Siberian Orchestra. I have never seen the E Center as full as it was last night. We had seats directly to the left of the stage and they were perfect. I am glad Casey talked me into those seats. This concert had it all. Great violinist, pianists, guitarists and singers. And on top of that lasers, flames, fireworks and flashing lights. I will never forget the air guitar, air violin and air piano on top of the conducting that was done by the crazy bald guy to our right. Thriller used to be our yearly thing, which can get old with all the sameness. All 4 of us have agreed this is going to become the holiday tradition. If you have a chance to go next year, I suggest you go.
